Heated Seat Issue?

I have a 2018 Chev. Colorado that I just got. I noticed that, at times, the heated seats (both sides) will not go on. I get the 3 yellow LED's for a second, but the red light never goes on. It is not the fuses and I can get them to work by tapping on the relays under the hood. My next step is to tap on one at a time to try an figure out which relay it is.

So does anyone know which relay, under the hood, supplies power to the seats and controller???

Check the information contained in the Upfitter Manual: Light Duty 2017 - GM Upfitter
Select Midsize Trucks, then Colorado/Canyon Electrical Section. You'll get a download of a PDF.
Schematics and operational information begins on page 941. If the module has power, the common ground (G302) may be a cause. If not, then the module may be toast.

The module for the heaters is located below the passenger seat.

Thank you for the information. I downloaded the diagrams. Funny how they lay it out. I am an Electrical Engineer and I have never seen anything drawn like that! LOL
FYI: the outside temp. does not matter. Hot or cold, it does the same thing.

One thing I see is the make reference to K9 Body Control Module? Do you know where that is located? Is that in the engine compartment? It might be the one that I am tapping to get it to work?

the BCM is up under the drivers side dash, remove the plastic panel, 2 screws and some clips, there is a metal piece, 2 screws hold it, remove it and the Body Control Module is under it

there are several wire looms that come out of it, not sure which goes to the heated seats
