I use my Colorado as a Neighborhood Watch Patrol vehicle at night and frequently do roadside cleanup events around town. I decided to add some grill lights to my Colorado to enhance visibility.
I purchased a set of 6 Amber LEDs off eBay for $11.
I pitched the control module and opted for a wireless controller (Prostrobe Ez-Wireless) since I may want to add a LED Lightbar and other flashers in the future.
First I removed the grill/bumper covers using information from the Forum and YouTube. Lights were screwed to the back of the grill by predrilling a #42 hole and using the supplied screws. The back of the grill has slots the seems like they were made for hiding wires. A few zipties and a couple ziptie posts left a clean installation. I snaked the wires up through the top of the grill and ziptied them to the hood release cable and routed them to the controller which was installed just in front of my battery.
Went ahead and removed that stupid chin spoiler while I had the grill off...
