Hello everyone. I just got the terrible news about my 2004 Colorado frame is rusting away so bad they are unable to safely rack it up to deal with front end issues. Is repair possible, worth it, common for this model? Any recourse? Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Unfortunately this is going to end up falling on you to address, this tends to be an issue on the 1st gen trucks that live where the roads are salted and insufficient care/prevention is done to keep the frame clean and/or protected. That's a 20-year-old frame at this point, your choices are to replace the frame (likely with one from a junkyard), sell the truck for parts, or find a fab shop that can repair it but the cost to do that may exceed the value of the truck. I have no affiliation, but this company appears to sell frame sections to replace rusted portions of the factory frame. It sounds like you may have more severe or extensive rust and it's not just a section or two. 2004 - 2012 Chevy Colorado & GMC Canyon GMT355 Rust Buster Frame Repai
