Can anyone give me their experience removing the exhaust from the turbo back? In particular, the bit catalytic converter looking part that bolts right to the turbo, what was your procedure for removing that? I just watched a video where they cut the flange off and pulled it out the top, but I really want to get it out in one piece. Is this possible without inventing a new language made of all 4-letter words?

In my experience, the easiest way was to pull the manifold and turbo out first. I think I separated the manifold and turbo and pulled just the manifold out. That gave me room to get the nuts on the back side of the turbo, then I pulled the doc out
