The crows in my neighborhood have been pecking away at my side view mirrors; leaving a good amount of light scratches. Can light scratches be removed from side view mirrors? A quick google search recommends using whitening toothpaste.
For light scratches in paint and bird poop stains I've had good success using Meguiars Mirror Glaze Ultra Finishing Polish. Not sure if something like this would work for side view mirrors.
