So today my TB decided it wanted to brake suddenly because a car in front of me was curving to the left.. Not stopping. There was a car behind me and it was sudden enough that had he been a few feet closer he would have rear ended me. Do yourself a favor and be aware that you can turn off the alert and brake part of the collision detection system in the vehicle settings. These settings could possibly lead to someone getting hurt. Coming from an F150 that had near perfect collision detection, this thing has gone off because I've gone around a corner and there was a tree on the side of the road nowhere near the road. It's terrifying that by default your car can brake suddenly because it thinks it sees something with what appears to be extremely bad detection abilities.
This happened to me as well I posted a thread about it. My truck is currently in dealer about this issue stopping when nobody as in front of me at all and nearly causing a pile up behind me. Also in shope for excessive vibration when in eco mode using cylinder deactivation. Hope all issues get fixed 🙏

I decided after posting this and people told me I was overreacting to go ahead and mess with the detection settings. It didn't help and I just ended up turning off the system to alert only. It still flashes red randomly at things like Trees. Or, I think one time it gave me the collision detection alert at a deer on the side of the road. It's still not great and the icon it gives me is soooo bright. It stays at max brightness even if you dim the dash.
Yeah I saw the comments and it's not overreacting. I was doing almost 60mph and it was raining. The fact it stopped me aggressively out of nowhere is absolutely dangerous people swerved around me and it absolutely could have cause a major accident. Mine will be left off.
