I have searched for this on the forum if I missed it feel free to delete this one. My backup camera isn't working at all just shows the lines with nothing else on it. If I purchase a new camera on Amazon will that fix my issue is there a way to test it. Some background information I boutlght the tailgate used from a junker. When I purchased my 2017 colorado wt truck in 2022 from ray skillman in greenwood it didn't have a tailgate.

You need a Diagnostic Tool that can get into the "Human Interface"

My wt has the camera no power steering or convenience package, but does have the plug and the screen will come up when put into reverse.

Okay so going into all bills paid I don't have the money to buy a obd2 reader(thanks biden). I did buy a new camera and installed it today with a oem part and still nothing. Is there a fuse I should check... I used a multimeter and it seems to be getting power.
