Hello all, recently traded in my 2021 Zr2 Bison for a 2024 Zr2 and couldn't be happier. This new 2.7 turbo is a torque-monster compared to the old 3.6 car engine. Anyway, on my Bison I had the 589 Fab ARB compressor mount installed under the overflow tank in the engine bay, and it was incredibly handy for airing back up after offroading. I found myself using it way more often than expected, and consider it a neccesity at this point. What are you guys doing for "onboard air" with these new trucks? View attachment 467896

I personally have that 589fab mount but would rather have built it into a pelican case with an anderson SB50 power plug to it... would make it incredibly portable between vehicles (when selling/trading in too !) and having an anderson plug on the truck would be useful for 10x more reasons (12v power in, power out, jumping, etc...).

ARB twin and that 1gal tank would be an awesome combo in a pelican. If you're near NC, and buy the components, I can definitely help you hydraulically crimp thick power handling cabling and either design a plate to go in the pelican, or drill through the pelican.

Not selling a service, just like to drink beer with other offroaders and work on things to make outings more streamlined.

I think ARB might making a suitcase system already though.

 

I just fabbed up this little aluminum mount. I wanted to mount it underneath for lower cent we of gravity, but this pump isn't sposed to be submerged. This works with my truck because of my smartcap. Usually this space is just wasted.
