I just got my truck and am starting to read up on it to become familiar with it. I have found a few links so far that others may be interested in.

In the following links you can see some specs, and other GM vehicles that use the same transmission as well as other GM transmissions that use a heavier version of the same transmission.
Now I just need to figure out how to get a dipstick onto the transmission. That way I can easily check the fluid condition after a long tow.

I saw in the following video @ 2min 35secs that there is already a magnet for catching fine particles in the pan. Nice to know.
