I currently have a ported box under my rear seat with a 10” Kenwood shallow mount woofer. I’m tired of the shallow mount subwoofers for trucks. Has anyone seen a box for our trucks that can hold dual 6.5” subs?

yea ive seen a few builds.....I think most of them had to raise the seat to make it work.....I think its some of the better lookin setups....I dont like the down firing setups....I got one in my truck now(2 10s) it sounds ok, but i feel its just missing something....at least compared to some of my older setups....As far as a prebuilt box....I can only remember seeing maybe one, and i thought it was a little over priced for what it was....but cant remember the company name...

I’m sure a custom shop can make something- nice thing about that is the box should be built to exacting specs so you can optimize what you pick.

I did see a pre-built box for our trucks, but they wanted $799.99. I've emailed 3 shops and they have not gotten back to me. Hopefully one the shops will get back with me. I can't see a box costing $800

A custom box will be kinda expensive. Depending on if it’s carpeted or gel coated makes a huge difference.
I would rather spend more for a custom built enclosure with the correct design and volume- of course those days are behind me. I am more into my home audio system these days.

There is a 6.5" box out there to buy.

I almost did front firing 4-6, 6.5" box instead of my 4 - 10" down fire box i made.

If I heard some good 6.5's in person to compare.
So I went with the biggest size I could fit.
So I went with 4 - 10" cerwin vega pro shallows, only seat lift done is 1" in the front, which makes seat feel more lwg room and sits on the lock more.
Without pulling the lock on your seat, lift up the front till it hits the lock, that is the position I went with.
As front fire, then there would be even more box space.

If you have the space under your subs add some Luan or something hard so the sound waves bounce instead of being absorbed by carpet.

Would have had to make your own, boxes are easy, made many, but especially when I molded the top to match bottom of the seat, it is time consuming.

Didn't subthump.com have 6.5"?
