I can't decide what I want. I already ordered a black Colorado ext cab w/ 4x4 Z71. I opted for the auto. All of my cars have been stick. I think I want another one now. Dealer said it wasnt too late to change that. I want a 5spd with the buckets. I have NO clue what it looks like. I saw the 5spd with the bench. I want to see what extra avail console/storage are avail with the 5spd w/ bucket seats. Also does anyone have a 5spd? let me know how it drives...Thanks!

Yeah, I actually saw those pics. I understand thats the 60/40 spilt bench seat w/ 5spd. I was wondering I guess if there was any extra storage/console things with the 5spd with the Buckets???? Thanks for the pics and info though

Yeah, tell me about it. I like it though. Its 2nd nature now. I remember, not like its that long ago...5 yrs, but I used to take my moms car out when she went to sleep. Everytime I'd get further and futher as I learned how to drive a 5spd. I picked up the basics by watching her do it and when she let me shift so I knew when to chagne gears and stuff. Since then I've had 4 cars, the Colorado being my 5th and EVERY one has been stick. I love it and cant get away from it. Makes driving more intresting if you will. Also, can't beat the lower sticker price and a little better gas mileage

Good job ordering the 5-speed!! They are not too many of us left in the world.
A 5-Speed manual is a "must-have" for me too. I found a 5-Speed on the dealer's lot on Sunday that was unlocked. I thought that the shifter looked longish, but when I sat down, the shift knob fell right at hand -- it's at the perfect elevation for me. Standing still, the shifts seemed very crisp. I've gotten too used to rubbery shifters in front wheel drive cars!

Automatics are a fad, they will never catch on!

i got the 5 speed in my 06 GMC with the I4. Chevy discontinued the I4 5 speed in the CHEVY but not the GMC :clueless not sure about the GMC 07s. Anyway, i got the bucket seats, not the split, and the console is great and you have 2 cup holders in the center. i test drove a extra cab with the bench, not that nice, but the buckets RULE!!!!!!!!! ive been driving for 16 years (legally) and have ALWAYS owned manual trans trucks and cars. I had one automatic truck that i bought just to resell, never registered it, so for the 35+ cars/trucks that i have owned/parted/customized/cut up or sold, all but one was manual. Why pay 1095.00 for something that gets worst gas milage and something i dont want. i would even want the LSX swap to have a 6 speed  that i want to do........ just my opinion though

MANUALS RULE!!!! 32 mpg on a 650 mile trip from NC to NJ in a CREWCAB!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Crew Cab with a I5 and bucket seats. It was changed from a manual to a auto by the dealer. It has little storage room, but I am not complaining. For a 15 year old I am very neat.

Um yeah right. I call BS
