I saw this was kinda buried in another thread and know others have been waiting for this release so thought it deserved its own announcement. This is the same front bumper that's on the 3rd Gen ZR2 Bison.

$3250 shiny US dollars! I'm pulling up couch cushions looking for extra change right now!

And I believe it’s a couple hundred more because you have to get the skid plate also if you want one. The stock ZR2 plate doesn’t work with that bumper.

 

Better find some more change...

 

An extra $5k+ to get "not a Bison, but the front-bumper looks cool and you can mount a winch" when I could have spent and extra $5k to get "a Bison."

Gonna pass on that one, big dawg.

So many of these companies get a factory-sponsorship and start huffing their own farts. There's other aftermarket companies that do that same stuff for much cheaper, my guy.

 

Yeah, I was excited too.....until I saw the price !!! Closing in on $3500+ shipping and installation and it becomes a $4k bumper. That's pretty steep.

 

Yeh i certainly can't justify my bumper being 10% of the cost of the truck itself 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

 

Imagine a bumper etc. install costing the same as the Bison jounce kit AND installation..... Hard nope from me there. If Chevy had offered the kit and an engine upgrade as a package for 1/2 the price of the Bison package, I would have done it. Ah well, I'll "roll my own" as they say...

Yeah, no sh!te! Some friends I know have spent more on a bicycle than I have on a MOTORcycle. I paid like $600 (then) for my mountain bike and it's pretty nice, I bought it about 10 years ago from:

That is one of the nicest looking front bumper yet but to rich for me.

 

Their products are well thought out and integrate very well. I have all of the skids and the winch mount on my Gen2 ZR2. Spent far less than that for them.

 

I think your numbers are a little off - Bison package adds another 10+k to the sticker price.
