I'm looking at swapping out the stock Duratracs on my '18 ZR2 with 285/70R17 Falken Wildpeaks, but I can't decide on the P or LT version. I don't tow basically ever and the truck spends more time on the blacktop than in the dirt, minus some decent gravel roads, so the P-rated tires would probably be fine. However, I like the idea having the extra protection of the LT tires (Load C and E versions), but their advertised weights (62.8 and 58.9 pounds respectively) are making me wonder if the added protection is worth the added weight. Also, I've read that LT tires on these trucks can be a bit much and ride a little rough. Does anyone have any feedback on either (P or LT) version?
