Okay! All finally came together on receiving my ordered 2024 ZR2 Bison with all the bells and whistles. As a reminder, my timeline below from workbench order placed date to receipt.

2024 Black Colorado ZR2 Bison -
Order Workbench Placed: 9/12/23.
Order accepted by GM: 2/15/24.
TPW: 3/25/24.
TPW: 4/1/24.
TPW: 4/8/24.
Bison built week of 4/8/24.
VIN received.
Yet to ship and dealership continues to report "Dispatch Pending".
5/16/24: GM chat assist: "In Transit".
5/17/24: Nope. Dealership still states: "Dispatch Pending".
5/24/24 - 7/16/24: "Dispatch Pending".
6/14/24: Yet to ship. "Dispatch Pending" aka "In Transit".
7/16/24: 6 hours after emailed response, "Dispatch Pending" received.... phone call from dealership stating on truck and can pick up Friday or Saturday, my choice!
7/19/24: RECEIVED!!

Can't say enough good of the dealership I purchased from. Walked in prior to dealership even having ordering info on a Bison yet was able to still generate a workbench order making me #1 priority on list for a Bison through them. Even though willing to place deposit of any amount they requested, they turned me down each time I offered and stated my word to follow through was enough to continue down the ordering/receiving path. Once TPW received, dealership sales manager provided me with weekly updates. Only issue, once produced and VIN received there was just over 90 days between production to receipt. Shipping backlog was told.

Pleased with every aspect of the Bison. Sits 3" taller than my 2018 Z71 Silverado. Now...if I could install a 6 or 8 cylinder...I would!! Lol. Plenty of mobility with the turbo 4 cylinder but hard to get over the sound of a 4 with owning nothing but 8's my entire life! Learned if I turned the radio up.... doesn't bother me a bit! Lol.

Attention getter?! Yes.

Below are photos from day of receipt at dealership, near home prior to window tint, ceramic coat and CCE 1" front leveling kit installed and today's photos with tint, ceramic coat and lift kit installed.

I couldn’t wait that long for a truck.
I admire your patience.
I have never ordered a vehicle, always stock delivery because I’m not so fussy about options. Everything in life is a compromise to me.

Congratulations on your beautiful Bison!

Dennis....ahh yes! Such an eye for detail sir! Same as all black Colorado's! Thank you for your wonderful observation.

As for the seeing out the back window, pleasantly surprised as I would have thought the same prior to being in the driver's seat. Actually, between driver/passenger mirrors along with 50% vision from rear view mirror, I am not insecure of what is behind me in any way. I assume your comment is from actually driving one, yes?

They refused a deposit because it was a Bison so they knew if you backed out they would still have no problems selling it.

She is beautiful, enjoy. I am suoer jealous

Thanks for letting me know! It is pricey for a midsize but honestly everything is pricey! I own a 22 2 Door Rubicon that I ordered 2 years ago and I haven’t even driven it 2000 miles. I told my wife it is time for a truck. Out of the midsize market, the Tacoma TRD Pro is overpriced (plus the shock seats seem like overkill), the Ranger Raptor has power but the interior is fugly (exterior too), but the Bison just stands out and with the AEV goodies there are no foreseeable mods needed.
Thanks again!

Like not the word, love yes!
Last truck purchased, which I still have is a 2018 Silverado Z71 short cab, short bed and thought I had a good riding truck and with at the time up to date electronics, but this Bison is amazing. Yes, loaded with all the options so big difference from the Z71. Electronics are never ending as I still have yet to dig in and work with all. Daily route to work in the Z71, I dodge all the potholes, humps, bumps, etc., as the jarring I get makes me worry I'm tearing something up...yet now in the Bison...I aim for them! Smooth riding and easy to move in and out of traffic. When I hop in the Z71, it's like driving a tank compared to the Bison. Each have their own purpose.
Overpriced compared to ZR2? Perhaps...but LOVE the full factory upgrade which makes it a Bison and the 35's are the best!! Gives it that "beast" look...and I was happy to pay for it!

MIRuby....Thank you! I did not install them myself. Possible to do so? Yes. Wanting to do so? No. Simple job for those with the tools and time. I have neither so took it to a shop and let them do it for me! And...YES, must be aligned once installed. One of the reasons I took it to the shop where they upgrade trucks, etc., and the alignment equipment so didn't leave the shop unaligned.
