I used to think that the whole fuse 'issue' was just a bunch of internet trolls amplyifing something that wasn't actually a thing, until I found a few loose fuses in mine too.

I agree w/ both @Ryan_Monty and @Xcanuk - loose fuses would cause intermittent problems, and mine weren't 'loose', just not fully seated. I misspoke. I pushed them all in just because.

And like someone else mentioned, cars/trucks today are not what many of us older folks grew up with, it's like driving a computer now. I think about all the issues our laptops, programs, and network have at work, and how often updates are pushed out on our network, and I'm surprised we can get any actual 'work' done! And regardless if you are an Android or Apple user, think about all the updates your phone gets. And remember, GM is first and foremost an automobile manufacturer, not a software company. Not that I'm trying to make excuses for them, but...

I'm 99% sure that the Colorado/Canyons don't have that secondary battery. Seems like that was a Mopar thing (i.e. stupid).

It was stoopid. We had 3 JL/JLU Wranglers in the family. They all had the secondary battery, mounted under the main battery.

Yeah, that makes zero sense to me. Just use one battery big enough to do the job and be done with it. Batteries set up in parallel always seem to kind of fight each other (shortening their lifespan), and it's more electrical crap to go wrong. I hope they stopped that. Unless....that was their sneaky way of telling you that all you had to do was remove that battery to kill the ASS feature....hmmm...

Yeah, don't even get me started on current day Chrysler/Stellantis quality control(less) BS. I WAS a Jeep owner for 40+ years. Never again. People b!tch about GM quality? Brother, you ain't seen nothing unless you know how pathetic it is over at Chrysler.
