I originally posted about an oil leak on the New Member link. I think this might be a better location to do follow-up.
I took possession on 05-11-24. The truck was driven from Wentzville, MO to my dealer by a hired driver, a little over 170 miles. I drove it 13 miles home and discovered it had an oil leak. On 05-22-24, the dealer removed the transmission and replaced a faulty rear main seal. Per the technician the truck was left to idle for close to an hour and then driven. No leak was found. The repair ticket notes 211 miles after repair. The truck stayed at the dealer waiting on another part to be replaced which would not affect the oil leak problem. I needed to use the truck so I brought it home after Memorial Day. I'm still waiting on the other part that does not affect drivability.
I now have 472 miles on the truck and it still leaks oil, leaving spots on my garage floor in the same place as before but these aren't nearly as big. I crawled under the truck and see drops of oil clinging to various places (same general location) but that is as technical as I get.
I'm scheduled for a visit Tuesday, 06-11-24, one month after taking possession.
