what are the over all wheel tracks of the new Gen3 canyons? i'm curious since GM only advertises width with mirrors, even though the fenders are flared out pretty far past the mirror mounting point

 

Thanks for this info. I can use it to determine the floor height of my yet to arrive Z71 with 20s, and I think the tires are 255/55/20. And compare it to my tacoma. I'm trying to determine if I really need step bars.

 

Thanks Bill. By chance, do you have the measurement of grade to center of front tow hooks?

 

The center of the tow hook bar across the front is about 16" from grade on my Canyon.

Good to hear, thanks! I’m awaiting delivery of my Canyon Denali and plan on setting it up to be a tow vehicle behind my RV. I need the attachment point (tow hooks) height to be +/- 3” of the RV hitch. Your measurement puts me right in the middle of the safety zone so I won’t need to make special arrangements for height adjustments.

just saw your informative post.

Do you know if the Colorado LT is equally lifted? I have seen conflicting numbers.
My own view is that the lower the bed rails, the better.

 

Sorry, I only have firsthand info on my own truck and have only seen two Colorados and one other Canyon in the wild where I live.
