Personally, now anyway, the update screen is just a very loose guideline, so is the app and the web portal.
My 23 is on android 12, but I can't tell you when it was done, not logged in black and white anywhere and I never noticed what I had when I first picked up the truck.
But I was on 12 before the Multi module update
No signs of any OTA, but I did notice my truck changed a few times last year in the way it operated, just minor stuff.
My multimodule update does show up on the truck history as well as the web portal, but no longer shows up in the app.
Had an update done at the dealer last month, it doesn't show up anywhere.

Hell, when I first got the truck, my screen said last update was 1969

my current screen.. just back from the dealer. I had to check for updates manually (Multi module is Sept 26th)

As I recall, I think I have similar initial and current screens as you. I'm gonna go check in a few, but where is the Android version info located? AFAIK, the only OTA update I've had was Aug-Sep '23. Had the multi-mod update done at the dealer Aug '24 (2-3 hours). Can't remember where I saw it, but I'm thinking I'm still on Android 11.

Maybe that's what happened! When I got the notice in the mail for the Multi-Module recall, I THINK there was another one that was going to be done as well. When I picked it up from the dealer, they said I was all set and no issues. No mention of Android 11 vs 12 or anything like that so I never questioned it. I probably have over 6 months before my next oil change, but maybe I bring it in sooner rather than wait.
@Hazdaz

Sorry, I communicated the wrong service bulletin for the radio update. They will most likely find the newest version once connect the vehicle to Techline. Regardless, the update method is the same outlined in the bulletin:

Here is my older post in regards to getting off Android 11

Go to your app, or the web portal (my Chevrolet) log in should be the same as the app.
There's a list of what recalls are incomplete and completed. The multi-module was part of a recall, or that's how its listed on mine.
Under Help Center > Recalls & Warranty it states "No incomplete recalls" and for completed ones it only lists the "unwanted automatic emergency braking which was done 04-21-2024"

So it does not mention anything about the multi-module recall. But I do not know if ALL Colorados needed to get that done or if they only checked it and the truck didn't need it done which is why it isn't listed.

If the multi-module recall needed to get done on ALL Colorados, then I will definitely be making an appointment soon.

My app and the website show different info. App shows "No incomplete recalls" and "No complete recalls". Website shows as pic #1. My display now shows Updates and History grayed-out, yet I can still tap it to receive the "see dealer" message (I found the Android version under System\About). Under Security, I found this red update that results in the same "see dealer" message. I've seen the dealer for the multi-module update well after the date of that Security update message.

I see you are from the Philly Burbs. I am not sure how far of a drive Limerick is for you, but Patriot of Limerick is my go service department. They were able to perform the software updates that my local dealership claimed they were not able to do, and also re-performed the recalls on my truck because they claim they were not done correctly the first time.
I'm about a 90 mins from there, but it's where I got my truck! Maybe I'll do it again for the recall.

I made the trip when 3rd Gens were hard to find. A red one sold right out from under me, so I bought the blue. I got it in May of 23 when people that had ordered and placed deposits got hosed with trucks sitting on the holding lot and getting hail damaged. My truck was built a few weeks before I bought it, and slipped right past all that.

Crazy times, and thanks for the heads up. Glad to hear Patriot treated you right!

Ever since the app came out came out with an update a while ago, I noticed a few recalls that were done and listed previously on mine disappeared, but still listed in the web portal.
Thats why I think updates listed are just a concept. Web portal no longer matches the app, which does not match the truck.
Since my memory is crap, I have a collection of screen shots and pictures to refer to with dates

I picked mine up from Miracle Chevrolet in Morgantown in August 2023. I got my name first on the list to view the vehicle while it was in transit to the dealership. That made it rather difficult (impossible) to negotiate on price since there were many others behind me that were interested... oh well. I originally took my Traill Boss to Quigley in Bally, but they struck out two times and I am not willing to give them another chance. Patriot is only a 15-20 min drive for me so it's not too bad, so I will continue to take my truck there for service.

Add me to the list of 23 Trail Boss that has never received an update. I have had the MM TSB done, but still no update. I manually run a check periodically and always says up to date or not updates, whatever it says.

Makes me wonder / guess.
Didn't an OTA kill a bunch of 2023's in June - July 2023 ± ?
Did GM decide to exempt certain pre-build dates so to avoid a repeat issue.

I purchased my Traill Boss in August of 2023, and since then I have never received an OTA update.

That is weird. I bought my 2024 in March of 2025 and have had several.
I think they pop up when I am with-in WiFi distance of my home Wifi and place the truck in park.
They take me about maybe 5 to 10 min.
I do not always do them every time, I will let it go weeks without doing them based on how much time I have.

I am 90% confident there is known issue that GM tried to fix through the Multi module recall but we're unsuccessful and won't admit it. So rather than issuing a recall to have a module replaced, they pretty much gave up on us because they can manually update them at the service centers. They obviously fixed it for the 2024+ but left us behind. Less expensive that way.

Neither the app nor web portal match the status of updates on my display. At the dealership now regarding software and security update error messages and transmission slippage (happened once last year). Advisor said a recall was incomplete for injector programming. Why no mail, email text msg, phone call, etc? The app and web portal are incompetent. I told advisor that I have auto-download OTA shut off; I check manually. She told me even though I can manually check, they will not download (if available) unless those toggles are switched on. Sh swore to me that dead battery issue has finally been fixed. TBD

Well, I turned the auto and wifi download options back on then.

Maybe we have all collectively disabled these settings due to the battery drain issues, which is why no one has been getting updates? That would be... comedic.

I check manually as well, I don't have an issue with turning on the updates "if" it notifies me an update is available, I just don't what the truck to do it on its own, when it wants to,
Not a matter of control, I just want to be in a proper area in case in screws up

Does it notify you when there is an update if you have those switched off? Mine never has. The web portal says I’m current on recalls, but the dealership said otherwise.

What's NOT comedic is coming out and finding your truck is bricked because of a dead battery because the OTA update settings are turned on. Happened to me once because either the dealer manually turned the settings back on without telling me at the service before it bricked (likely), or the update itself turned the settings back on (unlikely). I'm VERY hesitant to let it do the recent update it tried to do yesterday evening without sitting in the dealer's service parking lot.

I’m feeling froggy today; I’ll switch them back on and see how it fares.
