I was dropping off my 2024 Canyon AT4 off at the dealer on my way home from work. The fuel door had been hard to open and then sometimes opened going down the road. It was a nuisance but then it stopped opening all together. Anyways, I was on the way and noticed the wireless pad wasn’t working. It would charge for about 5 seconds and then stop. I happen to have 3 phones, iPhone 14 & 16, and a Samsung. It’s a work thing, don’t ask. So, I took the cases off all three and none worked. I told the lady what was wrong and she wrote it down on a small sticky note. I knew there was going to be a problem. She called the next day and told me that they had to order the part for the fuel door and had to keep it another day. That was cool but she asked what kind of phone I had because the tech said it worked on his phone. I told her that I knew they were going to tell me that and I had already looked up the service bulletin for them and I wanted it fixed. She said she would give him the info, I don’t know why they just couldn’t fix it. I told them exactly what was wrong. Anyways, I hope this helps someone who’s charging pad isn’t working. It’s a new pad that keeps the phone centered and actually works. Pics are attached. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Mine has worked 99% for my samsung with an otterbox defender cover and the holster still attached. The phone does not even touch the pad directly due to the holster.
Just in the last 2 months or so, it started to show a charging error icon, but I just pick up the phone and throw it back down, all good

My charge pad doesn't work for either my iPhone 16 PM or my iPhone 15 work phone. Going into the dealer nexst week for that and the roof issue.

The dealer ordered the new phone pad, roof pieces, and also a new plunger assembly for the fuel door. I almost didn't get it open the other day, and told them about it. They will call me to schedule another appointment to install everything once it all comes in. No problems or issues w/ the dealer, and it's not even the one I purchased it from. So far, so good.

Don't know why owners think there is a difference between purchase dealer vs service dealer, I always went to the one I felt the most comfortable with for each area. I think they make as much profit in service as the original purchase if not more in the end run. The only time this would not apply is in a buy back. But that's me

Because in the past I've gotten the run-around when taking a vehicle to a dealer other than the one I purchased it from. YMMV

Funny, except for GM, I always went to a different dealer for each without any problems and got better treatment in each area.
The only reason I stuck with my dealer 100% is because the sales rep is darn great and I got to know the parts guys as well as service people.
(Although they do shake up the service reps every so often which gets tiresome)

Unfortunately, my experiences have not been as good as yours. 3 dealers (Jeep, Ford, and Chevy) all refused to work on 3 different vehicles that were all less than 2 years old and in good condition. 2 of them were even CPOs, and after those experiences it's nice to find a local one to me that has been decent to work with.
