first figure out how much you need to raise the front to get it level.
measure at the center of front wheel well, then raise the truck until level and see the difference

a 4 foot level on the bed will work or a length of string
then are you going to be hauling any loads and/or trailers

The stock Trail Boss is about 1" higher in the rear, so you would want to go with the 1" leveling kit if you don't plan to change the height of the rear. The 2" front kit would work great if you get a 1" block lift for the rear.

I’m a bit confused on something. I’m seeing others say that the 1” leveling kit will level out the 2023 trail boss. However, doesn’t it come w/ a 2” factory lift. So my thought is that the 2” leveling kit would level it out, no? I know I’m missing something. Thanks!

the whole truck is raised the same front and back 2 inches, but still retains the rake.
if you raise the front 2 inches it will be higher then the back.
the 1 inch level kit raises the front of the truck about 1.25 inches

if you have a trail boss, as we do not know what you have, take a level and put it on the bed rail, then measure at the center of front wheel well to the ground, then raise the front of truck until the bubble on the level is centered then re-measure at the front fender, and see the difference,
you can use the level in your I-phone but it is not quite as accurate as a 4 foot level but it will work fine

Thank you! That makes sense. I have a 2023 Colorado Trail Boss.

I ordered the 2” leveling kit and 1.5” rear blocks from CCE for our ‘24 Canyon AT4s. Supposed to be delivered 6/12 and installed 6/14. I’ll add pics and measurements when they’re done.

How did it turn out? I’m very interested.

My 2023 Trail Boss is just 0.75” higher in the front. As such, I think 2” front and 1.5” rear would make more since than 2/1.

Well, I haven’t gotten the rear blocks yet, supposed to be delivered Wednesday and getting installed Friday. I will definitely post pics and measurements.

I just had the Icon Stage II kit installed on my 2023 Canyon AT4. The front coilovers were set at 2” and I had 1/2” Eibach rear block added. My truck still retains a 1/2” rake exactly like I wanted. Hope this helps.

So I finally had the lift installed this morning. CCE 2” front, Eibach 1.5” block rear. These are the measurements from the ground to the bottom edge of the fender at the axle center, stock tires at 35psi, averaged each side to get these numbers.
Front: 37 1/8”
Rear: 38 5/8”
I don’t know, it seems like the front should’ve gotten a little bit higher than that. The guy who installed that broke the harness that monitors the brake pad life and didn’t say anything about it. Makes me wonder if he actually took the strut apart and put the sleeve spacers in.

So I had to edit this because I found out the shop DID NOT install the lower strut sleeve spacers, and that’s why I only got about 1” lift in the front. Shop says they didn’t install because they don’t do anything. 😒Now I have to go back on Thursday. Should have just done it myself. I’m going to have more hours into this just sitting around waiting than if I just did the damn thing myself.

That's unreal. I am in the process of finding a local shop that will install the CCE 2/1 on my TB and worried about something like that happening. Trying to be careful with who I have work on it. Hope it all gets straightened out.

I asked my local tire shop when I had the wifes Jeep in for tire rotation, he said, we do not advertise it but we do it all the time. 2hrs labor and alignment

The craziest part is that my boss has been bringing his trucks to this shop for 25 years. Everything from spacer lifts and re-arching leaf springs, to a custom 20” lift on his 2500 Cummins. They are a custom spring and welding shop. They had the struts out and would have taken an extra 10 minutes to just do it. Now it’s like doing the whole thing all over again.
