Driver side low beam not working (not bulb)

Hi,
My driver side headlight is out (everything is stock). Replaced bulbs on both sides. Driver is still out. Checked for error codes and got B2575. The turn signals and marker lights work on both sides. That code references automatic headlight relay control or body control module (BCM). From what I have read if it was a fuse issue the marker lights would be out. I did check fuse 33 which is under the hood. It was fine.

Anyone run into this? Truck is a 2020 zr2 with the diesel. Not finding much on this issue.

cheers
Doug

Prob the wire harness and bulb socket. Being a 2020 should be under warranty.

I had a intermittent problem with the pass side LED headlight bulb. It was a poor connection in the harness. I used some conductive bulb grease and it's been OK for 3 years now.

Friend of mine had this. A squirrel-mouse-chipmunk ate the wire. That wasn’t covered under the warranty.

B2699 CHEVROLET code possible causes
  • Faulty Right Low Beam Headlamp
  • Right Low Beam Headlamp harness is open or shorted
  • Right Low Beam Headlamp circuit poor electrical connection
  • Faulty Body Control Module (BCM)

Replaced bulbs on both sides. Driver is still out

I got lucky on this one. Dealer verified the error codes. They put in a new factory bulb and cleared the codes

So the end result it was the bulb. Sometimes it is the simplist of solutions

Thanks everyone - I got lucky on this one. Dealer verified the error codes. They put in a new factory bulb and cleared the codes. I think they reset the BCM and everything is working fine. I got out for under $100 bucks. The dealer did echo about checking the actual connections and reseating the bulb.

Thanks again.

Colorados and canyons were designed poorly for the headlight wiring, (to save yourself a lot of wasted time pull the driver side kick panel. You will see 2 big bulk connectors, the bottom one is for the headlights. There are 2 large wires in that connector, red/yellow and a blue/black. They are probably corroded. Cut and splice the wires, changing the harness will be to involved, if the connectors look good use silicone to seal the terminals from water
