2005 Colorado Front brakes not releasing

I have a 2005 colorado. The front brakes have are dragging. I have read through most of the forums, but my issue seems to be a bit different. I just replaced the front brakes, and rotors. While doing this I couldn't collapse the calipers with a large C-clamp(both sides). I had to eventually just bleed the fluid out through the bleep port on the caliper. I have checked the brake switches, and greased the calipers. My next thought was to replace the master cylinder, or have a dealer do a power bleep with the abs motor running. I am just unsure on what to do next. Am I missing something obvious?

Calipers can seize, especially when older. If both calipers seized at the same time, that would be odd timing and suspicious to me. I had to change master on my 2006 after 189,000 miles. Take it step by step and rule out what is good. How does pedal feel? If master is bad, you should feel something.

Something else to consider and a bit less expensive is the brake lines. I had an old Sierra with over 200k miles that had front brakes dragging and it ended up being the rubber brake lines. They had gotten so old and worn out that they were collapsing in on themselves and not allowing the pressure to release from the calipers.

There is only 60k on my vehicle. The brakes feel fine, they aren't spongy. I was able to get the brakes to release when I loosened the nut on top of the abs module, so I don't think it is the brake lines. My gut feeling is telling me that something in the abs module isn't working. I disconnected the power to the module, and had the same results.
