My Colorado has an LED(?) strip in the fog light bezel. The wiring harness made the install of my Baja Designs Squadron Pro's in the fog lights a little more difficult. But as far as I can tell, the lights never turn on. What are these lights and how do I turn them on?

Honestly, I'm tempted to order the black surrounds . . .

Here's what I'm talking about:

It's an accent light. Should come on with the parking lights. It's a $200 kit to order.
Weird. I tried every light combo I could and they would not turn on. Does the truck need to be in Drive? Or does the dealer need to activate something so they turn on?

Here's a thread on it...
Also, this guy has been trying to sell his for awhile now, maybe he can help..

Thank you! Great info in that first thread. I don't think they're very bright as I haven't noticed them on. I'll have to check when it gets dark.

can you see if they are hooked up? they should be connected to the headlight main harness located on the headlights.

They are. I had to disconnect them and route them through the Baja Designs bracket when I installed my Squadron Pro fog lights. Should they be bright enough they're easily seen in daylight?
