Messing around with a heat gun and maybe some high strength adhesive is low cost. Seems worth a shot and then if it doesn't work you didn't invest much. Basically you can always go for a different set of liners later.

I had mine since 2016. Finally threw them out in January. Replaced them with Husky Liners 53121
