I'm Buying some ZQ8 wheels and will put 235x60x17 destination LE tires, what I can afford right now or if there is another that you guy's can recommend around 600-700 for a set installed,

Will these rub, stock suspension Z85 07 CC

I want a good tire in wet conditions, so no crapyears.

A 235/60r17 is only .4" taller radius that the stock 225/70r15 so you shouldn't have any rubbing issues. You could run a 235/55r17 size and be closer to stock size and have more tire options.

BTW, all Goodyear tires aren't bad. You just have to pay more for their better tires. I had their Eagle HP tire and was not impressed although they did handle well in the dry. I now have their new Eagle F1 and have to say that I am impressed with them so far. Last week it was very rainy here and they tracked well on the puddled highways. This past weekend I drove on snow covered roads and never felt them break traction or feel loose.

Is the sport ZQ8 trucks lowered ? I'm having a heck of a time finding tires for ZQ8 rims, there is tires but at 150-200 a pop for good ones, I just want it to look right, what is the stance of the ZQ8 with the factory 235x50x17 tires,

here is some of my options for tire sizes with factory suspension Z85, 225x75x15:

235x55, 235x60, 235x65,

235/60-17 will be very close to stock diameter. you will not rub with them. That will be a good size if you are going to stay at stock height.

you'd also be fine with the 235/65/17 if you find more options in that size. You're speedo will be a bit off though.

The ZQ8 suspension is 1" lower than a Z85 and the tires make it sit another .5"-1" lower than a stock Z85.

17" tires in general are not going to be sub $100 tires. At least not for a decent quality tire. With tires it's just like anything else, you get what you pay for.

I put 255/50-17 Kumho ecstas on my ZQ8 rims and it looks pretty good imo and they STICK in the rain and grip hard around corners in the dry. the old conti's were complete crap tires, They last 27k miles though...
i paid around 130 a tire installed at discount.
edit: i got confused by subsequent posts, sorry.

Looks like I will go with the 235x60x17 it is the same size as the factory 225x75x15, and I know to well about you get what you pay for with tires,

I'm just use to 15" 16" tires, seems like a $40 price jump when you go to 17" thanks for the help guys,

I saw this 4x4 lifted Dog (Dodge) with what looked like 22" wheels and 285x30 tires you could barely see the tire, he thought he was cool I guess
