I recently purchased a 2006 Chevy Colorado Crew Cab 2 wheel drive for the family vehicle and the wife wants fancy wheels.
Looks like she has chosen the Eagle Alloy 203 wheel.
My question is, which offset would be the best for the new wheels?
The original wheels are a 15 X 6.5 with +23 offset.
The wheel is available in:
15 X 7 inch 0 offset
15 X 8 -18 offset
16 X 7 inch 0 offset
16 X 8 +14 offset
16 X 8 +27 offset
16 X 8 -11 offset
16 X 8 inch 0 offset
The wheel is also available in 17 inch sizes but I think I would prefer to stay around 15 or 16 inch sizes. I'm an old coot and just can't adjust to the very large rims with very thin tire look, as well as with the terrible roads around here, they would get broken in the potholes in no time.
Thanks a million for any insight you can provide, my mind just can't quite grasp all this wheel size stuff and I sure don't wanna buy a set just t have them hit the suspension or the body!!
