With that width and offset, they are going to stick out past the fenders.

i just bought the 17x8 maxx witht the factory overall dimensions of tires (orig265.75.15=30.6 to new265/65/17=30.5) and the do not work becuase factory offset is +23.. vs most of the maxxs -6mm. I am looking for ones and they apparently make them in 17 w a positive offset. i know that 18s do. either way the ones i got wouldnt even come close to making 1/4 turn and would need smaller tires of a lift. it also looked bad and stuck out at least an inch wider. hope this helps

American Racing Chrome Crush Wheels

I also am illiterate when it comes to purchasing wheels. I drive a 2005 Z71 Crew Cab. I am looking at the following wheels to replace my stock 15s. I have read in the forums here that the factory offset is +23. The wheels I'm looking at have an offset of +25. Is this a good match? Will they fit without rubbing...etc? Will they be too wide and stick out a little or what?

Here are the specs:
