Factory side steps are peeling. Looking for recommendations on what to paint them with. Probably just touch up on the peeling areas.

try some type of bedliner product... more dureable

find a shop that can burn off the original paint then sandblast, bring them home use a self etching primer.

then coat with quality rattle can.....every two years

Raptor 2k is what I used on mine. I recommend the kit with separate sprayer instead of the rattle cans. Just from a cost-benefit standpoint at least the next time you need to spray something you have everything but the consumables. My first go was with the 2k cans, and it worked like a champ. Was rather expensive as I underestimated the number of cans I would need and would've been better off with a full kit.

Have the old paint stripped or blasted. Have them powder coated.
No more problems.
Anything else is temporary.
