I have a WARN evo 10 with the wireless controller on my Colorado and Ive had no issues so far. Ive always kept the controller in a ziplock bag as a habit from owning previous wired controllers for several different winch brands, thankfully. WARN issued a recall because if the controller gets wet it can malfunction and keep spooling ( oh crap lol ) so i was getting ready to look at the website after plowing on my 20' king quad750axi ...when all of a sudden while plowing with my quad the WARN 25 just peeled right off the 4 mounting bolts........I did 6 to 9 in/outs when i noticed the rollers and mounting bracket just down at the hook connection to the plow tube...i was baffled. I contacted WARN right away with all my info and photos. WARN is literally sending out a whole new winch and mounting bracket. They also answered their phone in 2 to three rings and I understood the man clearly as he spoke in the same dialect lol. I really just want to say hats off to this company and to remind other forum members that WARN still backs all of their products and has a great and knowledgeable service staff. Thanks again WARN, I am a proud customer for life

I’ll agree that Warn’s customer service is excellent.

I also say that I’d rather not need it.

My high dollar 9.5xp is on its third warranty claim in less than 2 years. I’m just lucky my pre-trip checklist includes a winch test. Otherwise I may have been screwed.

Call me unimpressed.

More than likely you spoke to my neibhor, he works for Warn CS, they are just a few miles away. He moved in a few years ago and when he saw I had a Zeon 12-s I started getting gifts at my door.

Whoa no way! You gotta buy that dude a coffee or a beer. Or maybe drop off a few pizzas at lunch time to their spot
