2011 Colorado here. I'm pretty sure the shocks are ready to be replaced anyway, and I'm not loving the way it tows a small trailer. I mostly use this for taking a small trailer on long dirt roads.

I'm looking at doing Bilstein 4600 upfront and Gabriel Load Carrier Shocks on the rear.

What do you all think?

I've used both and prefer the Bilsteins front and rear hands down. I often tow my small tractor and a 13 foot camper.

The load carriers I purchsed were junk and broke the first trip.

I recommend an add-a-leaf combined with Bilsteins. Great light duty tow combo imho.

That was an alternative plan. I’ll probably take your suggestion and go that route

I found a picture of my load carrier shock experience.

Swapped it out on the first trip.
