I’m hoping someone can help me with this issue. My truck alarm keeps going off randomly after I lock it with th fob. My new fob or old one doesn’t matter. Sometimes its 5 min after i lock it, sometimes its hours after.
Has anyone had this issue before? How do i fix this?
Thanks

I suspect the battery or connections. And check your FOB batteries
did this start after you got the new fob?

Fob batteries are new.

Started with the old fob, got a new one. Now the problem is with both of the fobs
You may want to look at the alarm components in the truck, doesn't sound like a fob issue. Start with the motion sensor - loose wires? corroded connection? etc.
Door jamb switch or connection?
Wow, this is exactly what my old 98 Ranger did to me after about 2 1/2 years of ownership and it continued to get worse as time went on. I took it to the dealership and the tech that worked on it was very good and he told me to have a little patience and he would figure it out. I only paid for the initial service, and it was covered under the 12/12000-mile warranty for repairs. When he did figure out the problem, I only paid for the part which was less than 25.00. Now, as for these trucks, you need to find out if there is a small part that resides in the column that the key pushes against to allow truck to start. This small part was fatigued, which the tech said he had never seen before, but when he replaced it, the problem was fixed for good, he told me he wouldn't throw parts at it and if I gave him the time and bring it back when it would act up and what conditions there was when it would happen, that he would find the problem and he did.

I think mine has done that in the past if I don't make sure I close the rear doors good, like maybe the door switch isn't contacting good unless I slam the door. 2015 Canyon Ext cab SLE.
