I noticed my transmission will suddenly go out of lock up while I am on a flat roadway, steady throttle and steady 60 mph. The change is felt as a slight drivetrain thump while I am driving. The rpm's raise and lower dramtically
when I move throtttle. After about a minute, the transmission will suddenly return to full lockup. It's done this several times now. Is there anyone else that has this problem? Are there any TSB's out there? I just wanted to know if this was a serious issue before I take it to a dealer. BTW, no check engine lights noted when this stuff happens.

I am from Canada and was checking to see if anyone had this problem of
the torque convertor unlocking for no reason. I am glad to see that I am not krazzy like the DSM from GM thinks.
My 2007 Canyon started to do this at 12,000km and I have had an uphill
battle with GM since and still do not have it fixed.
It does just what you have stated in your post.
Good Luck with this.
