Steering Wheel Control - XM Issue

2022 Colorado ZR2 - the trial XM subscription expired, so I transferred the subscription I had on my previous vehicle. The subscription is now active on the ZR2, and the controls on the LCD screen to change the favorites work fine - can touch each favorite and the station changes fine. However, on the steering while, when I try to scroll through my favorites in XM, a message appears on the dash window saying "SiriusXM Subscription Expired", and the stations won't change. Tried deleting my profile on the truck and recreating - didn't help. Tried doing online chat with Chevrolet and just got the runaround.

Any ideas out there...?
