Hey there hoooogan! If you need another EZ Flash cable, please contact our support team, and we’ll get one right out to you. As for the plan here, we definitely agree that if you want the dealership to fix this vehicle defect, you will need to bring it to them on the stock calibration. Otherwise there’s a risk that they not only try to blame the issue on any one of the modifications to your truck (including the tune) but also denying warranty coverage and/or blocking warranty coverage on any future issue. Good luck, and let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you.I live 2 miles away from the dealer, so it's not a big deal. If there is no word on resolution, I'll bring it up as a "maybe this thing? 🤷🏻♂️" I might even see what their thoughts are about using the old assist motor with the new rack. The module is in the motor, and it's already programmed for my truck.... My other concern with the stock tune is the wheel speed and driveshaft speed sensors won't read the same with the regear. IIRC, it didn't throw any visible codes on the stock tune, but cruise did not work, so the ECU wasn't happy.
At this point, I want to see if GM can find a workaround for the tune or whatever is actually causing the issue. And I really have no idea where I put the Trifecta cable. I looked around and it is probably in one of the boxes on the top shelf. Or it could have done the 10mm socket disappearing act. 😂 I'll dig it up if I need to. I have so many other things I need to do before I leave on Wednesday, so I'll cross that bridge if I have to.
Side note: not sure I mentioned it, but I got my reverse lines and offroad angles back after the steering angle sensor was reset.
