That's pretty normal. Even my 2018 was getting rusty after a couple years. Spray it down with a rust remover, then coat it in something like fluid film. It's really only an issue if it eats all the way through or if you need to disassemble.
Steering Linkage Corrosion
Under the hood the other day and noticed my steering linkage had heavy rust on it. Has anyone else delt with this? Thanks ya'll.

That is why I was surprised about the linkage. I think the frame and the rest of the truck has very minimal rust.
