Looks good. I'll order one but my question is did you field test them yet? That's an aviation term for did you try them out yet to make sure it fits properly and doesn't leak? Thanks.
I’ve had an the first one I made in my fuel filter housing which is bare aluminum and it has not leaked. I plan to swap it for one of the new samples that are anodized this weekend.

If you are keeping a list of those interested please add me to it, thanks!
No list. I’ll post a link to the website that I’ll sell them from. First batch is going to be 100 pieces. I plan on making a second batch almost immediately as it seems that demand here is accounted for 25% of that and there are far more lurkers than posters.

Here is a question, how many diesel Colorado/Canyons have been made? Does anyone here know where to find that info?

I recall reading somewhere early in the gen 2 release that the diesel take rate was somewhere around 10-20%. Fairly low, but that was early on as well maybe a year or so after release?
Maybe they've released updated % numbers, but model by model most manufacturers do release sales numbers (maybe quarterly?) So if you knew the take rate you could work backwards from there, or ballpark 20% of whatever Colorado number you do find.

If the take rate is 10%, then roughly 100K

Well, I’m way more behind than I thought I would be by today. The photo above is 60 parts done on the lathe. They still need the tab milled and the tumbled. At best I will get the lathe work done today. I ran into some issues with concentricity that I think I know the cause of, but it will cost me more time to make the pieces to solve the problem. There is never enough time. Once I get the lathe work done, I think the remaining stuff will take 3 full days. So, since I have a day job, that means I’m a week behind on shipping parts to the anodized. So I’ll keep grinding away till this is done.

Sorry.

Well, I’m still behind schedule, but I’m domed with the lathe work. I might have been able to finish the work on the mill today, but regular life stuff had to be dealt with and there’s not enough hours. I wish my job would allow for working 4, 10 hour days as that would give me a three day weekend. Anyway, the clear bin has the parts from the lathe. The green on is after they have been milled.
