Well i've had this sub sittin around for about a year and i was wondering how exactly to install it. here is a link to the sub i have

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-jATT7mB1O1 ... =113KSCWD2

That is the sub, and i want to hook it up to the stock head unit. As im sure most of you dont like the idea, ive had it done in my 03 blazer, but had best buy install it for me. I would have them reinstall it but they quoted me about 125 bucks. I dont think it could be that hard to do by myself.
The guys also said something about a rc switch or something.

Thank for all the help people.

"A built-in low-pass filter adjusts the bass to fit your vehicle, while the phase switch ensures that the sub is working with the speakers in your car, not against them. "

Quoted from the website mstrpoz posted. I never noticed it before, but they make it sound like it will integrate into your system automatically, without you having to make any manual adjustments. Just thought it was funny.

It isn't hard to do by yourself. Just need a LOC. Try searching for it and you will see people who have used PAC and Scoche (sp?) wiring harnesses without a problem.
