Has anyone been able to place a rtt above the bed that has a sport bar and a shortbed? Looking for ideas. Thanks

Not that I know of. The OEM sport bars take up a lot of space on the bed rails and make it very inconvenient for mounting any sort of rack system. You might be able to put a tonneau cover on there, one that supports some weight, and then put the RTT on top of that but thats still probably not enough space to let the RTT open up unless you set it to open towards the rear of the vehicle.

Personally I think the sport bar serves little to no function, and would have removed and sold it for something a little more practical.
