Hi,
Has anyone picked up the 15+ Colorado RK Sport hood yet? I have purchased rk sport hoods for my full size GMC trucks, they are very well made.

I am not a big fan of the mini Duramax logo plaque, the current 6.6 Silverado/Sierra badge is much much nicer.

I plan to remove the stock Duramax Diesel badge from my Midnight Edition z71, and install the RK Sport hood, and use just the Duramax logo from the 6.6 only leave off the Allison part and put it on the sides of the RK Sport center scoop.

So the hood scoop feeds air to the air cleaner?

Looks good. As for water ingestion i believe K&N makes a sleeve you can slip over the filter that helps wick water away. Would also consider plugging the hole to the fender opening to help pull air through the hood scoop. Might help its effectiveness at pulling air through the air barrier that gets created.

Has anyone picked this up yet? Found some photos of it painted and installed on their site. Have been told that fiberglass hoods tend to flex a bit but cant see it being worse than the cheap oem hood that already has that problem...
