I'm looking to install a powered subwoofer to my 2016 Canyon Crew Cab, Non-Bose system. It's a simple 8" bazooka-type sub, which I had in my old truck. I've been goin through most of the relevant threads, and I have a few questions. 1) I'd like to use the high level input for audio signal, and tap into the Front door speakers. Can I splice into the speaker line and still maintain the signal to the existing door speakers? I won't be removing the head unit or dash, but probably goin through kick panel and installing terminal blocks to split the speaker outputs. 2) What's the simplest way to wire in remote wire to turn sub on when I turn the key on?

Tapping signal won't affect the speakers as long as you don't completely cut the wire. For remote you can go to the fuse box on the passenger side. There is a fuse that lets you decide if you want constant or keyed cig lighter plugs. Move the fuse to the top two. Attach a spade and fuse to remote wire (See picture). You can find a factory ground under the carpet in front of the passenger seat. I would suggest getting a line driver (Audicontrol LC2i) instead of a cheap LOC to fix bass roll off from the factory deck. If it were me i would go behind the deck for signal. there is room for the line driver and wires are easy to find.
