Took the Colorado up on top of one of my more isolated pieces of property to cut some grass.

Got the range back into shape. AR500 steel got a fresh coat of paint so I could run a few drills.

The furthest target is only about 75 meters but that’s what you get in WV.

I had such a good time that I’m heading back today. I’ll try and remember to get a picture of the trail leading up to the range when I get there.

It’s hard to tell but the terrain is pretty steep in places. It’s really dry now but normally it’s nothing but mud.

I’m not a photographer and didn’t feel like getting ticks all over myself so the shots are from the cab.

4wd low made it real easy due to the dry conditions. I need to cut the trail back though. Dang briars kept coming in the cab.

This wasn’t there on our way up the trail. When I saw it on the way back down, I cursed myself for not bringing the chainsaw. But we were able to squeeze underneath it

Stopped by my range to test out my new tires. They did better than I expected but it was pretty dry.

I got to confirm zero on my ACOG I just got back from Trijicon. It seems to be working properly even on a cheap rifle. I hope it doesn’t malfunction again.
