So my buddy got his racecar back from a shop that redid all his wiring for him. It's amazing, but that's another story. Anyhow. We didn't clear his driveway/shop out before getting excited and unloading his trailer after work. It doesn't run, so it's not like we could just drive it up his hill. Had to give it a little tow up the hill to get to a flatter spot where we could park it while we cleared out his shop. :grin2:

I was the same way! At first, I laughed at it when @589FAB bought his and said I'd never run one because it wasn't for me, but then I really started to like it, especially after using it on the way down to Overland Expo East last year. I also have a tonneau that I use, so now I have the best of both worlds. :grin2:

Dan, how hard is it to install the soft top? I'm a old fat man and like easy. My T cover is a five minute job if I remove the bed clamps. I wish the made the soft in OD green.

It's pretty easy! Once the softopper is put together, you only have to tighten 4 bolts to fully secure it to the truck.

View attachment 309401 View attachment 309385 View attachment 309361 added a few accessories and I get a lot of compliments about how nice it looks. New tires, wheels, black Chevy bow ties front and rear, cold air intake, took off the rock sliders and added running boards, flat black bug shield and window vents, tonneu cover with aluminum slats underneath it which you can’t cut it to get inside the bed, took off the spare tire underneath cause it made the truck look pregnant and put it in the bed. Tinted front windows, leveling kit for the front to even the stance out. Took of the chrome Colorado emblems and purchased black with a red outline emblem for all 3 locations. They made the truck look much better believe it or not just by doing that. It really stands out from other ZR2 Colorado’s. I do love it for sure. Also just added front headlights with LED driving lights and rear LED lights much better looking.
What size tires are you running?

@papasmurf1958 looks great! check out colorlugz, you can get some black covers, pack of 20 for $12 dollars, less expensive option than black lug nutz. I bought two packs and works great, if interested.

I have a set of black lug nuts too. The consensus was everyone around here liked the chrome ones better. I’m still missing two of them but I haven’t looked in my wife’s purse, lol!

Blacked Out

Took delivery of my '19 ZR2 CCSB in March and went to work on it. First thing was door trim so I could take it to Walmart with confidence. You can get them from CarID.com, painted to match for $170. Good investment! Next was the gate badge so when they pull up behind me they know, and removed the ZR2 stickers from the bed.....lol. Then, it was AutoVentShade time with the hood protector and window treatments (get the ones that mount on the exterior and not IN the window channel!), LEGAL tint on the front doors and a set of McGard Wheel Locks. Then I dumped the factory air box and added the S&B Filters Cold Air Box so the little beast can breathe.....and it sounds badass, too. That should do me for awhile.

Here is my 2018 ZR2 I purchased new in Nov 2017. This picture is from a recent trip to Yellowstone. The truck has 589 Fab front shock spacers and a Peak suspension add a leaf spring in the rear. I also have the Boost towing mirrors, a Racor catch can, and a Pedal Commander.
