got the wheels now I need to order the center caps

big huge boxs

I'm like I know they aren't this big



oh I see why a **** load of packing foam






hmm maybe I should just put them on the GTO instead lol

I think you should paint them red with a black trim around the lip.jk That wouldn't be so good. lol Are you planning on painting them first? Or riding around on them this winter and painting them this spring?

paint the inside red like in between the spokes and leave the outside same color... i need to get my hands on a set of those

nah they will be painted a gunmetal type color with a thin red lip

started my first wheel

all taped up



Mist coat of primer



good coat of primer



letting it dry and the garage fumigate before checking if I need another coat

this is my test wheel to see how well it looks how my prep work was before I do the rest

you know after looking at the wheel in dry primer I half tempted to leave it as primer and just add the thin red line to the outer lip

what ya guys think?

paint glossy charocol

or leave it primer black??

Gloss coat it. What's going to keep that paint from peeling off when you hit it with high pressuse car wash hose? I think thay use a powder coat on those rims from the factory.

gloss coat isn't going to matter with chipping its all in the prep work

factory wheels aren't powdercoated at least not GM i believe
