New setup on my 2005 gmc canyon, fitment question

I’m looking to run 275/60r17s on 17x9 -12 with a 3 inch lift on my 2005 GMC Canyon. Has anyone attempted this setup or something similar? If so, were there any fitment issues? If at all possible I’m trying to avoid trimming any metal but just don’t know if it’s possible. If it comes down to needing to trim metal I will but if I can help it I’d prefer to just trim the plastic if achievable. Thanks in advance!

You may want to go to www.355nation.net and scroll thru the tire pictures of the 2004-2008 trucks, they are the 1st generation guru's

I can tell you on my 2011, I put 285/70/17's on stock wheels with not issue, but in 2011-2012 they raised them up at the factory

Ended up having to come back here because I hadn’t gotten an answers on any of my questions, seems like you’re ole reliable lol. I’ll give it a look. I know 275/60/17s are a very uncommon tire size so it’s kind of hard to find anyone running them so I suppose I’ll be better off finding something close to it. Thanks for all your help!
