Greetings everyone. I plan on purchasing a Z71 Midnight Edition in the next couple months. This forum seems like a wealth of information with a good group of people. First thing I do when looking for a new car is check out the forums, they can be invaluable.

I had a 2004 Colorado I bought in early 2004 and really enjoyed it for the short time we owned it. Growing family caused us to get an SUV. He is now 16 and I gave him my car so I get to get something new(er) for me. I sold my Silverado when I retired for the Marine Corps and my commute to new job was now 80 miles round trip, and the gas was killing my wallet. So I bought an older Mercedes C300 and drove it the last couple years, recently gave it to my son, and now get to buy another truck! I think I am more excited than my son was lol.

Anyway, nice to meet yall, looking forward to lots of reading here and getting my list of mods together!

I promise to use the search function before asking any stoopid questions.
