Good day, despite the moniker I’m from Colorado. I’m currently stationed in Alaska. I have always liked midsized trucks and sold my Jeep Gladiator last year before our move up to AK. I’ve been on Jeeps since i was 16 and this is the first time in 18 years that I haven't had a Jeep in the garage.

When I saw the 3rd Gen and the changes GM made I placed an order for a Harvest Bronze Trail Boss HO with reasonable options. My wife rides in a 22 Z71 suburban, and I don’t need much comfort to get to and from work or take it hunting so the spartan interior of the TB should be a perfect fit. This will be my work and play truck. For this comparison, the same price gets you into a Gladiator with similar interior materials, no lift, anemic V6, and poor gearing, and it’s a convertible with a top that collects water. I view the Colorado and the new 2.7 HO as a win. Looking forward to learning everything I can about this truck, and making it my own. My wife has informed me this is my last vehicle for a minimum of 8 years. So modifications will come.

Great choice on the setup, and you'll LOVE it in the snow. Have been doing some snow wheeling with mine ('20 Z71 with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT).
You may miss the seat heaters in Alaska though. Dealer told me all the seats are now "snap off" covers and they can install seat heaters after delivery no problem. Only difference is that the button would be beside the driver's seat instead of on the dash.

That is great to know about the seat covers. Make some katskinz are in my future. Now I just want my order confirmed so I know when I can expect it.
