New Colorado Owner Looking for Advice

1783 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Adoy
Hey everyone! I just got a 2020 Colorado LT and bought the GM 1 inch leveling kit. I have recently gotten into overlanding and am looking for some advice for tire sizes. I have heard a lot that the stock tire size is about as big as you can go without any lift. However, after the leveling kit, what size of tire do you think I could fit?

Thanks!

Post some pictures after the GM level kit (spacers) are installed. I'm about to purchase and install the same kit but rarely find anyone that's willing to spend $150 for a 1" level. Most opt to go with the RC 2" for a third of the cost.

Also, 265/70/17 will only work with stock wheels or ones that have similar offset. The closer you get to zero offset, the more likely you'll need to modify the fender.

If you keep stock wheels u can go to the 265/70/17 with the OEM lift, I have 0 offset wheels and a stock tire size and get a little bit of rub on the drivers front fender, I bet if I did some trimming to the waffle it would be fine. I have heard of someone doing +12 offset and doing 267/70/17 with the 1 in lift and do the fender relocation kit and it worked fine too. GL on your adjustments and search.
