Just ordered 2 Stalwart moving blankets on Amazon. 72" x 80" size @ $14.99 per blanket. Will keep one in the truck bed and the other in the garage. Great for laying on the garage floor when working underneath the truck. Also will help protect the spray-in bed liner.

I keep them on my truck bed and back seat. Like you said, great for laying on! And, they make great fender covers, too. They're cheap - when they get soiled, wet, or dirty, they get replaced.

I started off with the moving blanket method in the bed over the bedliner, then sprung for the $125ish rubber bed mat. Amazed at how that thing has held up.

I’ve had the DeeZee rubber bed mat over my spray in bed liner for 3 years on my 2019 Colorado crew cab and it to has held up very well.

I have multiple moving blankets I have collected over the years. One is always in the bed under the cover.

Yep, have many Harbor Freight freebies. Great for many things and, especially now w/ cold/winter, you can use to keep warm if stranded. :D

I have a collection of Harbor Freight and Uhaul moving blankets. I always use on as a dog bed on the platform inside my truck, keep some in the bed to protect whatever I may carry, use them as picnic blankets, as a cover in my RTT over my bedding to catch the dirt throughout the day when I’m going in and out and as paint drop covers.
If you have a front load washer they are very easily cleaned.

That's funny. You bought a spray in liner to protect the bed. Then a blanket to protect the liner. What's going to protect the blanket? :)

I throw a couple of old blankets in the back all the time. Come in handy for a lot of stuff. But I don't worry about protecting the bed or liner.

An open weave cotton blanket - like hospitals use - are great for getting you out of the snow and mud. It's amazing how much traction they supply.

I also have a tarp in truck. Not sure I have ever needed it, but granddaughter used it when she pitched her tent outside our travel trailer.

The blankets will also protect whatever it is I'm hauling. .boB

The blanket also make a great fender protector when working with the hood opened.
That's a good way to scratch the clear coat possibly more. If you are going to use something for that, keep it dedicated to that purpose. Gotta remember, those blankets you use for everything collect debris and the debris sticks to them.

Which is why I regularly wash my moving blankets.

That's one of the reasons I won't use drive thru car washes. The dirt and grime gets on the pads and scratch your clear coat as you go thru the washer.
