I just bought a 2008 Colorado 2wd. I have heard before that the biggest tire this truck will take stock is a 30x9.5x15. Since it seems to have a little rake to it I'm wondering if a 2 inch lift in the front will level it out and accomodate a little bigger tire. Does anyone have experience with it? If it works I'm thinking i'll just put some spring spacers in the front. Thanks

Get the springtech 2 inch lift springs from ebay. They are not too difficult to install if you have a spring compressor. Or you can just take them to a shop and they will install it for you. It will level the front end out pretty well and give you that extra lift you need for larger tires. I did it and kept my 30x9.5x15's, but only until I need tires, then I will go bigger.
