I bought these off Amazon as high beam replacements for the stock halogens, I have these in wife's 2016 Mazda 6 for both high and low beams they work very well , but there is a big difference, the Mazda has open backs and our trucks are enclosed, I made the extended bulb covers and installed one high beam Led and left one stock, I almost crapped my pants to see the temperature diference the led bulb without fan was 74 degrees hotter than stock halogen. I measured this with my digital laser temp guage. I have seen in forum that fan cooled leds are substantially cooler, I'm going to return and try the bulbs with fan recommend by fellow forum members
